Central Operating Group (COG)
At the core of the Echelon is Springfield's patent-pending Central Operating Group. This self-contained, serialized stainless steel chassis allows for quick transfer between different grip modules, enabling shooters to customize the firearm's fit. The COG also houses the trigger components, machined from tool steel and highly polished for a clean take-up, defined wall, crisp break, and short, positive reset.
Variable Interface System (VIS)
The Echelon features a revolutionary Variable Interface System for optics mounting.
