The SIG Sauer MCX Spear is a civilian-legal handgun variant of the U.S. Army's XM7 program, delivering a potent .308 Win / 7.62x51mm platform in a compact package. This MCX Spear model features a 13-inch cold hammer-forged barrel and a Coyote anodized finish, offering robust performance for a variety of applications.
Built with an interchangeable barrel system, the MCX Spear is designed for adaptability, allowing for caliber conversions. Its 2-position adjustable gas valve is a key feature, especially for suppressed shooting, effectively managing gas pressure without needing additional modifications. The platform also boasts fully ambidextrous controls, including both side and rear charging handles, and an ambidextrous bolt catch/release, catering to diverse shooter preferences.
Integrated stainless steel QD mounts in the lower receiver provide secure sling attachment points.
